Merchant To QuickBooks

  • We Sell This Solution!
Is your company looking for a way to import sales transactions from an online merchant into QuickBooks? Use the online form at the bottom of this page to let us know and we will be glad to help!

    Problem
One of our clients sells products from two different websites. When one of their customers makes a purchase, the transaction is processed through a merchant (ex. PayPal, Merchant One). They also sell their products on Amazon. The painful part comes when they try to transfer all of their sales from the merchant to QuickBooks. This process consist of printing statements from multiple accounts and re-keying the transactions into QuickBooks.

    Solution
Tailored Software created a .NET solution to integrate all of the merchant accounts, including Amazon, into a single QuickBooks file. Initially, the user was required to set up each merchant account. After that, the process is pretty simple:

    1. The user clicks a button to import the most recent transactions from each of the merchant accounts.
    2. The user reviews all of the transactions and maps newly purchased products to a product in QuickBooks.
    3. The user imports the sales transactions into QuickBooks.

    Result
A process that took hours to do manually can now be completed in a matter of minutes. In addition to the time savings, the automated process is less likely to have errors or typos.
